Ambra Reijnen (1993), afincada entre Barcelona y Países Bajos. Tiene una Maestría en “Estudios Internacionales de Medios, Poder y Diferencia”. Los derechos humanos, especialmente los derechos de las mujeres, los derechos de los pueblos indígenas y los derechos de los migrantes, son su principal punto de enfoque.
En 2017, Ambra cursó una Maestría en Teoría y Práctica del Documental Creativo. Codirigió “Galatée à L'infini” (2017) un corto documental de material de archivo que ganó múltiples premios (de los cuales “Premio al Documental Mikeldi de Oro”, “Gran Premio del Cine Español” – Festival de Cine ZINEBI 2017; Mejor Película “Latücht Award” – European Film Festival Dokumentart 2018) y llegó a importantes festivales de cine (Hot Docs; DocumentaMadrid; Festival Internacional de Cine de Cartagena de Indias; a. o.) y prestigiosas salas de proyección (Union Docs, Center for Documentary Art New York; National Arts Museum Reina Sofia, Madrid; Tabakalera, Centro Internacional de Cultura Contemporánea, Donostia/San Sebastián; a.o.). En 2017 se fundó Promono Multisensory Productions, con la que Ambra, además de ofrecer servicios técnicos, también produce sus propios proyectos, como su primer largometraje documental “Junax, hilo a hilo” (2020), que entre otros, fue proyectada como película de apertura en el Festival Internacional de Cine DOQUMENTA Querétaro 2021, México. Como montadora de cine, su trabajo se ha mostrado en el festival Loop Barcelona 2019. En 2021 asistió al programa EURODOC (grupo local) con su próximo largometraje “Con il mare alle spalle”.
